What is Basket Type Screen?
A basket filter screen is a wedge wire of the centrifugal and conical types. Many wedge wire screen basket has a wide bottom and narrow top. The basket filter screen is the most commonly operated in centrifuge machines. They have exceptional corrosion resistance and strength because of the application area.
Principle of Flat Type Screen
The large openings on the surface of the basket screen enable excellent filtering because of the conical geometrical shape. Thus, the principle of the basket filter screen is more complicated than the other wedge wire screens. Basket screen is more durable since they are supported by flanges and rings. These basket screen can be used in a variety of ways.
Manufacturing
Basket filters are manufactured by welding wedge wires to support rods in the shape of a basket, as the name implies.
